Actors Theatre | Phoenix, AZ

Their Impact: Professional theatre with a social conscience in an urban setting. Ideas and themes embedded in performances are the framework for civic dialogue within the community. Innovation includes community outreach programs such as “Pay-What-You-Wish,” for community members who are unable to afford a full price seat.

Our Role: Comprehensive fundraising planning, interim management of the development function, oversight of the fundraising activities of subcontractors and executive and volunteer leadership and board development.

Arizona Humanities Council | Phoenix, AZ

Their Impact: Offers programs and grants which encourage communities to share and understand the stories of Arizona’s vivid past and vibrant living cultures.

Our Role: Campaign feasibility study and detailed roadmap to enhance fundraising operation. In association with Kellenberger Consulting.

Arizona Opera | Phoenix and Tucson, AZ

Their Impact: Brings the cultural experience of grand opera throughout the state of Arizona, and is one of only three companies in the U.S. that performs in two cities. Has presented Wagner’s complete Ring Cycle twice, a feat that has only been accomplished in North America by four other companies.

Our Role: Comprehensive short and long-term fundraising planning. In association with The Greenleaf Group.

Arizona Science Center | Phoenix, AZ

Their Impact: Features the latest premier science traveling exhibits, more than 300 hands-on permanent exhibits, an IMAX Theater, and a multi-media Planetarium. Part of the Carnegie “Girls, Math & Science Partnership” program, engaging girls age 11-17 in science to be confident, solve problems, and think independently.

Our Role:Assessment of the development operation to further enhance the effectiveness, productivity, and impact of the fundraising program. Implementation of recommendations from the assessment report, interim management of the development operation, and executive search.

Arizona State Railroad Museum | Williams, AZ

Their Impact: Currently under development, the museum preserves the unique treasures of Arizona’s heritage by collecting, interpreting, and exhibiting historic and cultural artifacts related to Arizona’s colorful railroad history. From 1900 to 1968, travelers from around the world arrived at the Grand Canyon rim by train through Williams, a key American West city on historic Route 66. Designated an official 2012 Centennial Legacy Project by Arizona.

Our Role: Preparation and planning for an anticipated $15 million capital campaign to construct the museum facility.

F.A.R. (Future Arts Research) @ASU | Phoenix, AZ

Their Impact: Seeks to achieve the ambitious mission of transforming the environment for the arts in Phoenix. Connects its artistic research to local and global arts communities in order to drive the creation of new art of the highest global artistic standards that is relevant to Phoenix’s social and physical environment.

Our Role: Research, preparation, and creation of a comprehensive report highlighting the artistic and civic activities and outcomes of F.A.R. for presentation to university leadership, donors, and the community. Preparation for and facilitation of a conference of regional art leaders; and initial planning and organizational development work for a regional art event.

Heard Museum | Phoenix, AZ

Their Impact: Premiere museum preserving the heritage, cultures, and arts of the American Indians of the Southwest. Recognized worldwide for its collections, educational programming, and annual festivals, including the World Championship Hoop Dance Contest and the Guild Indian Fair and Market.

Our Role: Feasibility study for a major endowment campaign, and ongoing campaign counsel.

Mesa Historical Museum | Mesa, AZ

Their Impact: Dedicated to keeping the history of Mesa, an Arizona frontier town founded in the mid-1800s, alive by preserving records, artifacts, photographs, landmarks, and memorabilia.

Our Role: Development of the Museum’s first annual giving campaign for unrestricted operational support, and an assessment of the development operation.

The Bead Museum | Glendale, AZ

Their Impact: Houses the world’s leading cultural collection of beads and beaded artifacts from around the world, preserving ancient links with people, places, and diverse community expressions. Collection runs from a 15,000 year old bead to modern bead art of today.

Our Role: Board development and training; creation and implementation of long-range plans for fundraising, membership, and marketing and communications. In association with Kellenberger Consulting.

Phoenix Art Museum | Phoenix, AZ

Their Impact: The Southwest’s premier destination for world-class visual arts. Features collection of more than 18,000 works of American, Asian, European, Latin American, Western American, modern, and contemporary art, including Rembrandt, Norman Rockwell, Annie Leibovitz, and Monet.

Our Role: Assessment of the fundraising operation and recommendations for strategies to optimize the impact of the fundraising operation. Guidance of the implementation of key goals based on assessment.

Scottsdale Cultural Council | Scottsdale, AZ

Their Impact: Extending beyond the walls of any single building or specific event, Scottsdale Cultural Council makes high-quality art an integral part of Scottsdale, serving residents, visitors, cultural institutions, and artists by creating and advancing high-quality arts and cultural experiences and opportunities.

Our Role: Development planning preparation and facilitation consulting services.

The Phoenix Symphony | Phoenix, AZ

Their Impact: Arizona’s largest performing arts organization and only full-time professional orchestra, with a 75-member orchestra and 275 concerts and presentations annually. Performs for more than 80,000 students and children each year to introduce music to new generations through a variety of education, community, and youth-engagement programs.

Our Role: Interim management of the development operation and executive search for a new Chief Development Officer.
