Director of Client and Community Engagement
As a longtime Arizona resident, Michal Tyra has lived and worked in almost every corner of the state. Michal received a B.A in International Affairs from Northern Arizona University and his M.A in International Security from University of Arizona. After graduation, Michal spent several cycles working in local politics on both the city and state level, amassing extensive experience in grassroots and high dollar political fundraising, event planning, and field campaign strategy. He later ran the Northwest Democratic Office as a Field Organizer where he worked extensively with state and local candidates, community leaders, and involved citizens to build an effective Get Out the Vote network in Southern Arizona. After the end of the 2012 elections, Michal joined the Phoenix Philanthropy Group as a Consulting Associate.
