Cassandra has more than 30 years of dedicated experience in the areas of education, human services, and the arts for both the public and private sectors in the areas of public policy, executive management, staff and board development, and organizational development and structure. During her career, Cassandra has worked with a variety of organizations throughout Arizona in the development of programs related to drug prevention, domestic violence prevention, military affairs, juvenile justice, and volunteerism. Cassandra’s past experience includes serving as Chief of Staff to the Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction; Executive Director of the Arizona State Board for Charter Schools; Director of the Governor’s Office for Children, Youth, and Families; and the Governor’s Policy Advisor for Human Services. Prior to this, she served as the Director of the Arizona Prevention Resource Center, Vice President of Organizational Development with the Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, and Community and Public Affairs Manager for KTSP.
